Kenad Melunovic is an attorney at law and a certified specialist for criminal law who stems from a background of various functions within the administration of justice. While acting as a substitute judge at the Court of Appeal of Argovia, Kenad Melunovic’s focus as a lawyer mainly lies on criminal law and criminal procedure. Furthermore, he advocates our client’s interests in disputes concerning contract and payment claims as well as in the field of administrative law. He participated in further education within his main subject areas throughout his career and successfully finished the judicial training during his judiciary studies at the Swiss Judicial Academy as well as completing the certificate courses in litigation and civil court proceedings. Kenad Melunovic regularly publishes articles on current issues, mainly focusing on criminal law and criminal procedure, in specialist journals.

In the military, he acts as a president (judge) II within the Military Tribunal 2 with the rank of a lieutenant colonel.

Kenad Melunovic is on the Board of the Expert Group on Criminal Law of the Swiss Bar Association and the Swiss Competence Center for Criminal Defense. He is also a member of various organizations including the Zurich, Argovia and Swiss Bar Association, the Criminal Defense Stand-by Service, the Swiss Criminal Litigation Society and the Swiss Association of Judges.
