Dr. Bernhard Isenring, attorney at law, has acted in the consultancy and litigation fields for over ten years – mainly in the fields of criminal law and criminal procedure, with an emphasis on commercial criminal law and international mutual assistance in criminal matters. In addition to his work as an attorney, Dr. Bernhard Isenring is a lecturer for “exercises in criminal law I” at the University of Zurich and regularly gives lectures at various professional events (e.g. Kurs Fachanwalt Strafrecht SAV, Kurs CAS Strafprozessrecht, etc.). He also publishes in professional magazines on topical subjects in the areas of criminal law and criminal procedure. Amongst other things, he is co-author (since the 20th edition) of the “Orell-Füssli” StGB-Kommentar (Art. 265 – 332 StGB) as well as (since the 4th edition) of the “Basler Kommentar zum Strafrecht II” (Art. 194 – 200, Art. 265 – 267 StGB). Furthermore, he is closely involved in his work at the Swiss military justice in the rank of a lieutenant-colonel where he acts as chief of education of the military justice (staff of the office of the military attorney general). In the past, he also functioned as examining magistrate with the Swiss military justice, as prosecutor (auditor) and as President II of the 6th Military Court.
Dr. Bernhard Isenring is inter alia a member of the Zurich and St. Gallen Bar Association, the Swiss Bar Association, the Association of Business Law and the Criminal Defense Stand-by Service.
